Family Pictures in the Mission Home
This is our first family picture of the visit. We will have to post other pictures of the missionaires at today's Zone Conference.

Today we had a combined Zone Conference with all 4 zones in the Kinshasa area. The missionaries were very friendly and were eager to meet Carrie and Emily. Every missionary now has at least one picture with one or both of them. Each zone performed a skit and some were very funny. Lunch time was delicious--we introduced the missionaries and Mom to Hawaiian Haystacks. Then since it is Christmas this weekend, Dad ended the meeting with a talk about the birth of the Savior (we watched The Nativity movie earlier). It was a very nice conference and quickly tested our French language skills as the missionaries were excited to talk to us and not all spoke English.
Tonight we ended our day with a walk along the Congo River to watch the sunset. It was just as beautiful as we have heard and better than the pictures (although Dad's pictures are very good). All along the path where we walked are embassy residences and lots of military men. It is beautiful here, Carrie says it feels like Puerto Rico with the warm weather and all the palm trees.
