Trip to Likasi

We attended a district conference in Likasi which is a two hour drive from Lubumbashi. All of these pictures were taken by Bill from the car. We had to leave the city of Likasi and reach a check point before 5:00 or otherwise be stuck in Likasi for the night. It was also necessary to try to arrive in Lubumbashi without spending too much time driving in the dark which occurs shortly after 6:00 p.m. We were pushed for time and could not afford to stop to take any of the pictures. People here also do not like for you to take their pictures which makes it difficult to get some really good shots.
