Emily and Carrie Go to the Congo

Carrie and Emily left on Monday, December 19 to head to visit Mom and Dad in the Congo. We left Atlanta at 4:30 p.m. with one stop in Paris to conclude our trip by landing in the Kinshasa airport at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20. We arrived safely, and so did 4 of our 6 bags. Hopefully our clothes and a few Christmas presents will arrive on the next flight from Paris tomorrow. The picture below shows the last time all of our luggage was together. Just for the record, the large bags we checked were only allowed to be 50 lbs. each and 2 were 49 lbs. and 2 were 50 lbs. exactly--boy am I a good packer!
